Wifi was sometimes spotty (but I expected that from other reviews, so not a problem)
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and recommended several delicious restaurants. It was centrally located to dining, entertainment and sightseeing. And close to the train station. Good value for money.
The hostel is close by train main station, only a 2 min walk. Old Town is close by as well.
The girls washroom was always clean and the staff is really nice. Rooms are okey and clean as well. You can ask for hair dryer and other stuff at the reception. After staying there 3 nights I'll definitely would come back.
This renovated apartment in an old building has great location, the apartment has very attractive touches and decoration, and fully equipped with all households and kitchen has modern machines. Family loved the restaurant facing the building which serves delicious fresh food including pizza, Doner Kebab and other tasty food. Also, it is few steps from Prague liberty building and famous shopping streat. Thanks to Klara for her commitment, cooperation and support during our four nights stay, we have really enjoyed our stay at Opletalova Apartments and loved Prague.
All sounds echo around inside the hostel. It isn't like the neighbors were try to be noisy. There is not much to absorb the resonating sounds.
The staff were very nice! And the beds were clean and comfortable.
The outside of the hostel is quite rundown so it's not the most comforting thinG when you first pull up but the inside is surprisingly great.
The hostel was very clean and the shower facilities were really good for a hostel. The rooms were nice and spacious and the staff were really helpful. It was also within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and righthe across the road from the train station.
I stayed here for a bachelorette night with 11 other girls. We split into three rooms. The one I stayed in was the largest, and came with a refrigerator that didn't work. I heard it turn on several times, but it never cooled any of the many drinks we brought. The nice lady downstairs did give us some cups, though, which was very nice.
The rooms are fine for a hostel. No frills or even a mirror, but the beds are comfortable and the wifi works sometimes. When it works, it works well, but other times it doesn't work at all. Two electrical outlets for charging. The lock on our door seemed kind of dodgy, but it worked at least.
Parking within the hotel's building was 25€ a night, if you can't find street parking. The staff were really nice and helpful, and even offered to help bring our bags up. We were only here for one night, but the bathrooms and showers are fine and seem safe and clean. I say "seem" because you can't lock or safeguard the showers in any way that I could see.
This place is in a convenient location to some of Prague, but it's on a noisy street and depending on the weather you'll have to leave your wjndow open to let in fresh air. Bring ear plugs!
I've stayed in the hostel for 3 days with a couple of friends during Christams time. The location is perfect: really close to the city centre and not so far from the train station (for those who travel by train!). The rooms were big and comfortable, the sheets and the towels provided were new and clean. The common bathroom was well organized and cleaned everyday. The staff was nice, ready to help and give advice. The price is really cheap and I would totally recomend it!
As backpackers travelling on a tight budget, we loved it! Located right next to the main train station and to Wenceslas Square, this Hostel offers clean, comfortable rooms. The hostel is all new, so the rooms are fresh, but the reception is a little weird. As we checked out, there was no one at the reception desk, and the only woman working there was the cleaning lady who only spoke Czech... It was a little weird, and we had to wait quite some time before someone arrived. But over all, I would definitely recommend this Hostel to young travelers staying in Prague.
